Insufficient pressure on fire extinguisher

Since the Spring Festival, the Changsha Public Security Fire Brigade organized the Spring Festival Special Inspection Team to conduct in-depth fire safety inspections in Changsha's major bus and train stations. Yesterday, the inspection team found in the entrance and exit of the East Bus Station, the waiting hall and the parking lot that the fire extinguishers on individual buses were under pressure or expired, posing a safety hazard.

Yesterday morning, the bus station was bustling, and passengers from the south to the north dragged big bags and traveled. The inspection team will check the firefighting facilities in the inbound, outbound, and waiting halls, as well as the smooth flow of the fire evacuation passages, and issue fire safety knowledge manuals to all staff and passengers in the station. Subsequently, the inspectors came to the long-distance passenger vehicle parking lot, and carefully observed the fire extinguishing devices and safety tools in the operating vehicles. On a bus bound for Yancheng in Changsha, inspectors found that some fire extinguishers had expired, and some of them were under pressure and were ineffective. "Although the number of fire extinguishers in your car is enough, these problems are equal to no, and they are replaced immediately." The inspectors ordered the relevant responsible persons to make corrections in time.

It is reported that within one week after the start of the Spring Festival, the special inspection team inspected 25 Spring Festival units, found more than 90 hidden dangers, urged 85 fire hazards to be rectified, and distributed more than 5,000 pieces of publicity materials, which further promoted the “clean fires”. The campaign was fully carried out to ensure the fire safety of the city's bus passenger transportation system during the Spring Festival.
